Verhaltensregeln
Wir pflegen ein sehr gutes Verhältnis zum Flughafen und den dort ansässigen Behörden. Unser Hobby erfährt große Anerkennung und die Verwendung von Leitern an den Zäunen ist bis auf wenige Situationen geduldet. Das setzt aber voraus, dass wir uns alle an gewisse Regeln halten müssen:
- Beachtet Zufahrts- und Halteverbote entlang des Flughafens
- Manipuliert oder beschädigt auf keinen Fall den Zaun
- Entsorgt Euren Müll ordnungsgemäß oder nehmt ihn wieder mit nach Hause
- Beachtet die Anweisungen von Polizei und Sicherheitspersonal, bleibt dabei freundlich und verständnisvoll
- Verständigt bei auffälligen Beobachtungen (verdächtige Personen, Drohnen etc.) bitte die Konzernsicherheit des Flughafens unter der +49 89 975 63110
Rules of Conduct
We have a good relationship with the airport and authorities. Photography is well accepted and the use of ladders is tolerated most of the time. We would not like to see this relationship at risk which is why we ask you observe the following rules:
- Please observe traffic and parking signs at all times
- Do not manipulate or damage the airport fence
- Do not leave any waste behind
- When approached by police or security staff stay friendly and observe their instructions
- If you notice any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the fence (i.e. strange behaviour of people or the use of drones) please call airport security on +49 89 975 63110

Der Südhügel ist einer von drei offiziellen Spotterhügeln am Flughafen und derjenige, der für Fotografen den meisten Nutzen bietet.
Mit einigen Parkplätzen vor Ort und einer relativ großen Fläche kann man hier entspannt spotten und einen Großteil des Tages bei gutem Licht verbringen.
Am Wochenende kann der Hügel durchaus voll werden, da er auch für Familien aus der Gegend ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel ist.
Der Spot ist von 9- ca 16:30 nutzbar und ermöglicht das fotografieren von Starts und Landungen auf 26L, sowie Starts auf 08R
The southern spotterhill is one of three official spotting locations at the airport and also the most useful for photographers.
It offers some parking spots and enough space for several hours of spotting in good light conditions.
On Weekends the hill might be quite crowded, as it´s also a popular destination for local families.
The spot is best from 9AM till 4:30PM and offers a good view on arrivals and departures on 26L, as well as departures on 08R.

Unterhalb des Südhügels befindet sich das Tor 110, welches eine gute Alternative bietet, falls der Hügel zu stark besucht ist, oder Hitzeflimmern zum Problem wird.
Man kann direkt am Tor stehen, oder je nach gewünschtem Winkel den Weg entlanggehen und die Leiter beliebig aufstellen.
Folgt man dem Weg in westlicher Richtung, erreicht man etwa auf Mitte der Bahn das Tor 115, welches sich am Übungsgelände der Feuerwehr befindet.
Hier rotieren viele Narrow-Bodies und man verpasst so gut wie nichts, auch wenn die Betriebsrichtung geändert wird.
A good alternative for the southern hill is gate 110, which is located right beneath it and offers a closer view and less heat haze. Just cross the street and set up your ladder.
You can stand directly at the gate or change the angle as you like by walking up and down the fenceline.
Walk down the path in westerly direction to the middle of the runway to reach gate 115, which is next to the firefighters training ground.
This is the rotate point for most narrow bodies and you will not miss anything, even if the direction of operation changes.

Im Westen der Südbahn befindet sich das Tor 125. Man kann hier oder am Zaun entlang eine Leiter aufstellen und viele Stunden ohne Spotwechsel verbringen.
Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es entlang der Straße “Mariabrunn”. Bitte das ausgeschilderte Parkverbot beachten.
Von 9-16 Uhr können hier Starts und Landungen auf 08R fotografiert werden. Eine dreistufige Leiter wird an diesem Spot benötigt.
Gate 125 is located in the West of the southern runway and offers more than enough space and angles along the fenceline.
Park your car at the side of the road “Mariabrunn” and walk to the fence. Please obey the no parking signs in the vicinity of the bridge.
You get a good view of 08R arrivals and departures here, using a 3 step ladder to clear the fence. The spot is usable from 9AM till 4PM.

Der größte Hügel am Flughafen befindet sich am Besucherpark und kostet eine Eintrittsgebühr von 1€.
Fotografisch ist er eher eingeschränkt, da die Entfernungen hoch und der Publikumsverkehr gerade am Wochenende sehr groß ist. Dennoch stellt der Hügel die beste Option dar, Landungen auf 08L während der Tagesstunden zu sehen.
The largest hill at the airport is located at the visitors‘ park and requires an admission fee of €1. Photographically, it is rather limited due to the long distances and high traffic of visitors, especially on weekends. Nevertheless, the hill remains the best option to view landings on runway 08L during daylight hours.

Der dritte offizielle Besucherhügel befindet sich an der Ostseite der Nordbahn und eignet sich fotografisch nur im Sommer Frühmorgens und Spätabends.
Es stehen Parkplätze für 5-6 Autos zur Verfügung.
The third official visitor hill is located on the east side of the northern runway and is suitable for photography only in the summer early mornings and late evenings. There are parking spaces available for 5-6 cars.

Nach der Abzäunung des altbekannten Spots auf dem Wasserspeicher bietet sich eine Leiter direkt am Zaun als Alternative an.
Parken kann man nach wie vor vor dem Wasserspeicher, wobei dringend darauf zu achten ist, dass die Einfahrt des Recyclingunternehmens frei bleibt.
Geht man links am Wasserspeicher vorbei und überquert die Straße, kann man eine Leiter direkt an den Zaun stellen und ist sehr dicht am Geschehen.
Alternativ kann man auch am Spot “Trafohäuschen” parken und am Zaun entlang gehen.
Auch Runway-Fotos sind möglich, aber die Entfernung ist groß und Hitzeflimmern ist ein stetiges Problem.
After the closure of the well-known spot at the water reservoir, a ladder right next to the fence provides an alternative. Parking is still available in front of the water reservoir, but it is important to ensure that the entrance of the recycling company remains clear. By walking left past the water reservoir and crossing the street, you can place a ladder directly next to the fence and be very close to the action. Alternatively, you can also park at the „Trafohäuschen“ spot and walk along the fence. Runway photos are also possible, but the distance is huge and heat haze is a constant issue.

Anflug 26R ohne Boden

Der Standort eines Trafohäuschens am Rande der Lohstraße bietet einen unkomplizierten Spot ohne große Fußwege oder die Notwendigkeit einer Leiter. Allerdings sind hier ausschließlich Aufnahmen in der Luft möglich.
Der Spot ist bis auf weiteres wegen Straßenbauarbeiten nicht erreichbar!
The location of a transformer shed on the edge of Lohstraße offers an uncomplicated spot without long walks or the need for a ladder. The downside is, you only get photos in the air at this location.
The spot is currently inaccessible due to road construction.
Nordseite Nordbahn

Fährt man auf der Dorfstraße aus Attaching heraus, kommt man an den genannten Koordinaten an einer Einfahrt vorbei, an deren Ränder man parken kann.
Bitte nicht in den Forstweg fahren!
Zu Fuß erreicht man den Zaun der nördlichen Bahn, auf deren voller Breite man sich mit einer Leiter aufstellen kann.
Dieser Spot eignet sich nur im Sommer frühmorgens und spätabends.
Driving out of Attaching on “Dorfstrasse”, you will find a junction at the mentioned coordinates where you can park your car.
Please do not drive onto the forest road!
On foot, you can reach the fence of the northern runway, where you can set up a ladder across its full length.
This spot is only suitable in the early mornings and late evenings during the summer.

Westlich des Flughafens befindet sich eine Motocross-Strecke, die einen Blick auf ankommende Flugzeuge für 08L bietet.
Hier sind ausschließlich Aufnahmen in der Luft möglich.
To the west of the airport, there is a motocross track that provides a view of incoming planes for runway 08L. You won´t see any action on the ground at this spot.
Anflug 08R

An dieser Stelle steht man genau an der Stirnseite der Runway und kann frühmorgens und spätabends schöne Lichtstimmungen einfangen.
Für einen längeren Aufenthalt empfiehlt es sich, in Hallbergmoos zu parken (siehe Alternativspot) und ca. 15min nordwärts zu gehen.
Kurzfristig kann man auch am Rand der Zufahrtsstraße halten, allerdings wurden dort bereits mehrfach Spotter durch die Polizei abgemahnt.
At this location, you are positioned right at the end of the runway to capture beautiful lighting conditions in the early mornings and late evenings. For a longer stay, it is recommended to park in Hallbergmoos (see alternative spot) and walk approximately 15 minutes northwards. For a short-term stop, you can also park along the access road, but be aware that police have previously fined spotters there.

Auf dem kleinen Weg “Alte Ludwigstraße” kann man ohne Leiter Anflugsfotos von 08R machen. Parken kann man in Hallbergmoos bei Penny, oder auf einem der öffentlichen Parkplätze im dahinter liegenden Industriegebiet.
On the small road „Alte Ludwigstraße,“ you can take approach photos of runway 08R without a ladder. You can park at Penny in Hallbergmoos or at one of the public parking lots in the adjacent industrial area behind it.
